In essence, this work suggests that people are indifferent toward their unpredictable surroundings, such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It appears as if people have lost their facial expressions and choose not to put in the effort or fight for anything. Instead of dreaming and pursuing a "hopeful" future, people prefer to focus on the present and enjoy life as it is. However, economic conditions still impose pressure on individuals. Therefore, the two wavy lines surrounding the head signify the barriers that people cannot easily overcome. At times, individuals are left with no choice but to confront these challenges.
This artwork presents the grave issue of global warming in a thought-provoking and accessible manner. This artwork's gentle and subdued color scheme provides a satirical commentary on the individuals who thoughtlessly consume resources without considering the damage they inflict on the environment. The piece also highlights how the planet is warming and melting due to human negligence and disregard.
